Minecraft version 1.21 for Android, as unveiled during Minecraft Live 2023, is the latest update in the series. This update is set to introduce several exciting features, including the Breeze Mob, the Armorer, and the Trial Chamber.

Although the official name for this update remains undisclosed, it comes with the promise of enhancing combat and gameplay mechanics. Here are the details shared by the developers, with more innovations on the horizon.

Biomes:

• Currently, only one new structure is known.

Trial Chamber:

• A newly introduced and rare structure
• Comprising a long corridor with multiple individual rooms on different levels
• Players must complete challenges within these rooms
• The structure is generated randomly, providing a unique layout every time
• It is constructed using Tuff and Copper blocks
• Chests within hold valuable items to aid progression
• The primary adversary found here is the Breeze Mob

Mobs:

• Details have already been released about two new mobs.

Armorer:

• Selected as the victor in a mob vote
• Spawns in the Savanna biome
• Possesses passive characteristics
• Has the ability to curl into a ball
• Drops Shields upon defeat
• Can appear over time or upon the death of another mob
• Players can also manually obtain this mob
• Their drops serve as a material for crafting Wolf Armor

Breeze Mob:

• A newly introduced hostile mob with distinctive attributes:
• Appears in Trial Chambers
• Exhibits high jumping abilities
• Fires gusty projectiles
• Inflicts damage only upon direct hits
• Projectiles hitting blocks trigger explosions without causing damage
• Such hits can activate Buttons, Levers, or open Hatches and Doors

New Blocks:

• A range of decorative and functional blocks has been introduced.

Trial Spawner:

• A novel variant of mob spawners
• Located within Trial Chambers
• Generates various types of monsters
• The blocks surrounding the spawner provide clues about the types of monsters it will spawn
• The number of mobs and their drops depend on the number of players
• After spawning, the monsters enter a cooldown phase
• During cooldown, smoke particles are emitted
• Valuable materials can be collected from these mobs

Crafting Table:

• An automated version of the Workbench, featuring the following key attributes:
• Crafts items when activated by a Redstone signal
• Materials must be manually added to the block or via Hoppers
• Materials should be placed according to the recipe for correct crafting
• Hoppers can be used to block specific crafting menu slots, ensuring the correct recipe is followed

Copper Blocks:

• Several new copper block variants have been introduced, including:
• Copper Lamp, which provides illumination
• These blocks gradually oxidize and lose effectiveness over time
• Oxidation can be removed using an axe
• Copper blocks can be found in Trial Chambers
• Other variants include Grate, Hatch, Door, and Weathered Copper Blocks

Wolf Armor:

• This equipment is designed for tamed Wolves and includes the following features:
