An called Raiyon’s More Vanilla Shields add-on has been developed, introducing 18 new shields into the game, each with its own unique abilities and features. These shields come to the aid of players in challenging moments, providing partial protection against significant damage. The standard MCPE shield had become monotonous, prompting developers to inject fresh elements.
Varieties of shields include:
- Warden: Charges up while held and emits the Warden’s cry when activated.
- Amethyst: Increases player speed when equipped.
- Shulker: While held for defense, launches ghostly projectiles.
- Magma: Sets enemies on fire upon blocking.
- Torch and Lantern Shield: Illuminates the surroundings when held.
- Netherite: Inflicts wither effect on opponents.
- Mushroom Shield: Deals damage to attackers.
- TNT: Explodes enemies upon blocking.
- Bee Shield: Summons a Bee to fight for the player upon blocking.
- Marine: Repels attacking creatures with bubbles.
- Diamond: Grants regeneration upon blocking.
- Golden: Holding it makes Piglins fight on your behalf.
- Emerald: Summons allies for battle upon blocking.
- Iron: Basic and sturdy.
- Wooden: Basic and sturdy shield.
- Mushroom: Blocks attacks and releases spores.
- Copper: Accumulates attacks and releases a wave.
