Minecraft Live 2023

The annual Minecraft Live 2023 event (Minecon) has concluded! Developers unveiled the new Minecraft 1.21 Combat Adventures update and shared the results of the vote for the new mob to be added in the upcoming game version.

Anticipated Update Release:

Everyone eagerly awaits Minecraft Live 2023 to learn about the developers’ future plans for Minecraft updates. At Minecon 2023, all was revealed. Initially, we’ll be testing beta/preview versions of the game, with the full version release scheduled for spring, showcasing all the features highlighted at Minecon.

Mob Voting:
Three mobs—Crabs, Penguins, and Battleships—were up for the vote. The Battleship emerged victorious and will be added in the new Minecraft 1.21 version! We can expect to encounter it around springtime.

Key Features of Minecraft 1.21 “Combat Update”:

Rooms:
In caves, you can now discover rooms made of copper.

New Blocks:
From copper, you can create various cool blocks. There’s also a block that provides lighting based on its oxidation level.

New Spawner:
It will reward us after defeating the mobs spawned by the spawner.

Automatic Workbench:
Place a specific craft into it, activate it with redstone, and the item corresponding to that craft will drop.

New Mob:
This mob shoots wind, activating mechanisms and redstone wherever it hits.
