The addon adds seven spear variants — from wood to netherite — each with distinct attributes and two unique attack types designed to diversify combat strategies.

Created by popular demand following the success of Nautilus of Mayhem, this addon faithfully recreates the original Java spear mechanics while adapting them to Bedrock’s engine limits.
The latest version includes full achievement compatibility, support for Vibrant Visuals, extended attack range, and enhanced charged-hit behavior that allows strikes to affect multiple targets simultaneously.

Combat System and Attack Types

Spears introduce an entirely new melee style built around spacing, speed, and situational combat choices.

Quick Thrust

The default attack is a fast forward thrust triggered by a standard attack input.
This strike reaches farther than a sword, enabling effective control of distance and continuous pressure against enemies. It is ideal for rapid exchanges and keeping hostile mobs at bay.

Charged Dash Attack

Holding the attack button charges a powerful dash strike.
The damage scales with your movement speed — the faster you move toward your target, the harder the hit lands. This makes the attack exceptionally lethal while riding horses or other mounts.

The charged strike can hit multiple entities in a single tick with a 10-tick cooldown before hitting the same target again. This multi-hit potential turns it into a devastating crowd-control tool during large battles.

Charging Stages and Visual Feedback

While charging, the spear goes through three visual phases: Ready, Tired, and Released.
Each stage influences parameters such as knockback strength and the chance of dismounting riders from their mounts. These phases add tactical decision-making, rewarding players who time their attacks carefully.
