The Durability Armor Viewer addon for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) adds a convenient on-screen display that shows all equipped armor pieces, the item in your off-hand, and their current durability. This eliminates the need to constantly open your inventory to check equipment status — a crucial improvement for PvP combat, survival challenges, and dangerous exploration.

This add-on works without disabling achievements, making it fully safe for survival worlds. It is compatible with the System Dynamic Light addon and supports all modern Bedrock versions starting from 1.20.70.
The latest update introduces a dedicated control panel, improved compatibility, and optimized transparency for empty armor slots to prevent them from blocking your view.

Display System and Durability Indicators

The addon provides more than simple item icons — it presents clear, color-coded durability information for every piece of gear.

Color-Based Durability Bars

Each armor item and off-hand tool features a durability bar displayed beneath its icon.
The colors reflect the current condition:

• Green — item is in good condition
• Yellow — moderate wear
• Orange — heavily used
• Red — close to breaking

This visual feedback helps you repair or replace equipment before it fails during critical moments.

Off-Hand Display

The addon also shows the item held in your off-hand — whether it’s a shield, torch, map, or any compatible item.
Durability-based items display their condition, while stackable items show their count. Shields especially benefit from this feature, allowing you to see exactly how close your defense is to breaking.

Control Panel and Customization

Starting from version 2.0.0, the addon includes an advanced settings interface that lets you fully customize the appearance and placement of all indicators.

Accessing the Menu

The interface is inspired by the Java Edition and the Sodium mod, offering intuitive sliders and layout options for adjusting size, opacity, and on-screen positioning. Even beginners will find it simple to navigate.

Three Layout Presets

The addon includes three optional subpacks, each offering a different screen layout:

• Default — classic and unobtrusive placement
• Beside the hotbar — indicators positioned next to the hotbar for a compact UI
• Same as hotbar — alignment directly along the hotbar for a unified visual layout
