The Offhand functionality addon for Minecraft PE enables the use of various items, including blocks, in the left hand. While the addon has some technical limitations, its features make it highly valuable for players.
- Add-on Features: Offhand:
This is an experimental addon that requires Beta APIs to function correctly in Minecraft PE. Additionally, due to technical constraints, you will need the new cross-control scheme for the modification to interact with the offhand.
- Using the Offhand:
The offhand now offers enhanced capabilities in Minecraft Bedrock: you can plant crops, place blocks, use spawn eggs, bone meal, buckets, flint and steel, trade with piglins, and even milk cows with it.
- Quick Item Switching:
To quickly move an item from your right hand to your left hand during gameplay, simply crouch twice rapidly.
- Using the Offhand:
Crouch and hold the interaction button on the new interface to use or place an item in your left hand.
