Minecraft PE 1.21.40 Release — Bundles of Bravery

For many players, the standard game modes have started to feel repetitive. However, this update is packed with new elements that will add fresh excitement to the game.

One of the most anticipated features is the addition of bundles, which have a distinctive design and make survival gameplay more convenient for players.

• New Features and Bug Fixes:

This version has fixed many bugs and introduced several new features that enhance the game experience.

List of Fixes and Additions:

• Mob sounds have been corrected.
• The shipwreck structure now generates correctly.
• Blocks in the Creative inventory have been reorganized based on specific criteria.
• Mobs can now attack with a mace.
• Polar bears drop cooked fish when killed by fire.
• Tamed wolves, cats, and parrots no longer get lost.
• The Breeze mob can now attach itself to honey blocks.
• Creepers now drop a music disc when killed by an arrow shot by the Bogatyr skeleton.
• A new /effect clear option has been added to remove specific effects from players.
• Beehives can no longer be used as fuel.

Hardcore Mode:

A survival mode where players only get one life. If you die, the game ends, and you switch to spectator mode.

Unique Features:

The game is permanently locked to the highest difficulty.
Hardcore mode cannot be disabled once the world is created.

Hardcore in Bedrock:

Previously exclusive to certain platforms, hardcore mode is now available in Minecraft PE 1.21.40, allowing Bedrock players to prove their survival skills.
The challenge of hardcore mode is that you get only one attempt. If your character dies, there is no respawn, and the only way to prevent death is by using a totem of undying. Without it, the game ends.

Bundle:

The bundle is a new item that allows players to carry a larger number of items. Its simplicity in crafting makes it a highly anticipated feature in MCPE 1.21.40.

• Crafting recipe: Players only need string and leather.

Once crafted, the bundle becomes a very useful item for storing and transporting a wide variety of objects.
A unique feature is that bundles can be nested inside each other for additional storage flexibility.

The maximum capacity of a bundle is 64 items.

Improvements:

Mojang has also introduced several improvements, such as changes to the balloon dropped by the Breeze mob. The balloon’s attack range has been increased, and the height it can launch players has been raised, making a noticeable impact on gameplay.
