- To function properly, the golem requires a nearby chest where it can deposit collected crops. Keep in mind: if the mobGriefing gamerule is disabled, the golem will stop working entirely.
How It Works:
- Once spawned on a farm, the Hay Golem immediately starts scanning for nearby crops. If it has bone meal in its inventory, it will prioritize using it for fertilization. This allows it to perform faster and more efficiently than a standard farmer villager.
- When its inventory is full, the golem locates the closest chest and stores the harvested items inside. This makes it a valuable tool for building automated farming systems.
