Paradise Addon 1.26+

Ethercraft Dream Dimension adds a large fantasy dimension known as the Ether, or Dream Dimension, to Minecraft PE (Bedrock). The addon expands the game with 120+ unique items, 127 blocks, 20 new creatures, and 3 original biomes, creating a separate progression system with its own resources, equipment, enemies, and bosses.

How to Enter the Ether

Access to the new dimension begins in the Nether. First, collect Quartz and use five quartz blocks to craft a Quartz Portal Frame. Build a portal using the new blocks in the same basic shape as a Nether portal, then activate it with Flint and Steel.

The first generation of the Ether can take several minutes. Players should wait for the process to finish and avoid leaving the game while the dimension is loading. It is also recommended to bring extra Quartz, as it is required for returning from the Ether.

New Progression System

The Ether has its own combat progression. Your standard equipment is heavily weakened by a magical barrier surrounding the dimension. Regular weapons deal only around 25% of their normal damage, while local creatures can largely ignore conventional armor.

Because of this, you will need to develop new equipment specifically for the Ether. Progression starts with basic wooden and stone weapons before advancing toward powerful Ether weapons and Etherite Armor.

Creatures and Exploration

The Dream Dimension introduces a wide range of original creatures, including:

• Flying deer
• Alicorns and unicorns
• Angelic pigs
• Lava golems
• Dethermons
• Other fantasy creatures

Some creatures are hostile, while others provide unique interactions and trading opportunities.

Temples, Trading and Boss Battles

Ancient temples are scattered throughout the new world and contain valuable resources. Dethermons can be found beneath these structures and offer special trades. Rare shells can be exchanged for ancient crafting recipes, Dark Pearls, and Smithing Templates.

At the top of an ancient temple, players can encounter the Ether Boss. Destroying its special block awakens the ancient creature and begins a challenging boss encounter.
