Shader Test map

Shader Test is a practical map for testing and comparing shaders in Minecraft PE (Bedrock). It contains several specially designed locations where you can quickly check lighting, shadows, block details, reflections, glowing effects, fog, and the overall atmosphere at different times of day.

Instead of switching between different worlds, you can test multiple shaders in one prepared environment and easily compare their visual differences.

Test Locations

The updated version expands the map with several new areas:

  • Backrooms Poolrooms
  • Backrooms Level 0
  • Schole from DreamWorks
  • Shopping Mall
  • Leaf Corridor
  • Mirror Rooms
  • Improved forest area

Each location provides different conditions for testing visual effects. Indoor rooms are useful for checking shadows, reflections, and artificial lighting, while outdoor areas help evaluate skies, sunlight, fog, water, and environmental colors.

Custom Platforms

The map also includes customizable 60×1×60 platforms. They can be used to create your own test scenes and compare how different shaders render the same environment.

Why Use Shader Test?

This map is useful for quickly evaluating resource packs and shaders before choosing one for regular gameplay. You can examine their performance and visual effects in controlled locations without rebuilding test areas yourself.

Shader Test is a convenient testing environment for Minecraft PE players who regularly try different shaders and want to compare their appearance in one world.
