Minecraft PE 1.22 for Android

The long-awaited Minecraft PE 1.22 update for Android, first revealed during Minecraft Live 2024, is finally arriving in stages — and the first drop is already in the game! Players can now explore brand-new biomes, encounter mysterious mobs, and use powerful new blocks and items.

Winter Drop – What’s Inside?

The first phase of the 1.22 update introduces several unique additions:

• Skreeper – A strange mob that only appears at night. It can’t be harmed unless you use the Skreeper Heart, and light levels have no effect on its spawn.
• Pale Garden Biome – A haunting new biome featuring Pale Oaks, Pale Moss, and eerie ambient sounds.
• Resin & Resin Blocks – A sticky resource connected to the Skreeper. Dropped from the Skreeper Heart and used in crafting powerful materials.
• Eyebloom – A new glowing plant with unique behavior and status effects.
• Courage Bags – Storage items with special properties.
• Hardcore Mode – For the first time in Bedrock, survival now has just one life.

New Blocks and Items

• Pale Blocks, Pale Moss Carpet, Resin Clumps, Pale Wood, Hanging Pale Moss
• Eyebloom: Appears in two states (open/closed), glows in the dark, and blooms only at night. Can be harvested for orange and gray dye, but its fruit is poisonous — causing Nausea or Blindness.
• Skreeper Heart: A mysterious core item used to create powerful blocks and trigger Skreeper-related mechanics.
• Resin Clumps: Formed during Skreeper attacks, they can be crafted into Resin Blocks or smelted into Resin Bricks (available in mansions).
• Resin Bricks: Come in slab, stair, and wall variants. Perfect for builders looking for a new style.

Courage Bags & Inventory Upgrades

• Courage Mode: This is true Hardcore in Minecraft Bedrock. You only get one life. After death, you’re permanently turned into a Spectator.
• Bags: Made with just 1 Leather and 1 String, Bags allow for:
• Compact storage of up to 64 items.
• Display of contents directly from the hotbar.
• Quick drop of all stored items on the ground.
• Auto-clustering of identical items in a single slot.
• Content preview: If fewer than 12 items are stored, all are shown; if more, only the first 3 are displayed.

Eyebloom – A Mysterious New Flower

• Glows with watchful “eyes” at night.
• Doesn’t react to dimension changes.
• Communicates with nearby Eyeblooms to sync blooming.
• Deadly to bees – pollination attempt leads to instant death.
• Harvestable in Pale Garden by breaking ground foliage.
