Minecraft PE 1.20.40.23 [Beta version]

We’ve released a test edition of Minecraft PE 1.20.40.23 for Android, and here are the updates:

Bug Fixes:

• Splash sounds are now working correctly on Android.
• The 3rd person camera no longer allows you to see through blocks when using the Cauldron.
• Loose snow now properly absorbs damage when falling from any height.
• You can adjust the sound from the Goat Horn using the slider in the Note block settings.Mobs won’t freeze while in motion.
• Light no longer appears randomly without a source.
• The fishing rod with a distorted mushroom displays correctly when in 1st person view.
• The Sniffer now correctly digs seeds.

Changes:

We’ve introduced two new additions:

• Players wearing Leather Boots will now fall into Loose Snow when dropping from a height of 2.5 blocks.
• Particles from splashes in Minecraft will now appear near the character’s waist.
• Please note that this is a test version, so we highly recommend creating backups of your game worlds to prevent any progress loss.

These technical changes are exclusively relevant to add-on developers.
