Dragon Mounts 2 mod for Minecraft PE

The Dragon Mounts 2 mod for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) is the official continuation of the legendary addon, bringing dragon interaction to an entirely new level. No more slaying the Ender Dragon just once — now you can find dragon eggs, hatch your own tameable beasts, equip them with armor, weapons, and even bring them back to life after battle.

Features

This addon delivers a complete RPG-style experience centered around dragons. It does not require experimental features and is fully compatible with Realms, servers, and achievements. The mod introduces over 15 unique dragon types, new structures such as dragon nests, and a variety of weapons, armor, and items designed for both combat and exploration.

Note: Dragon Mounts 2 is a standalone project and should not be used together with the original Dragon Mounts mod.

From Egg to Mighty Beast

Your journey begins with finding and hatching a dragon egg. Each dragon species has its own origin, incubation conditions, and growth path.

Finding and Hatching Eggs

Wild dragons are long extinct — but their eggs remain. These can be discovered in dragon nests across all three dimensions: the Overworld, the Nether, and the End. To start the incubation, simply interact with the egg until particles appear. The hatching process takes around 20 real-time minutes.

Taming and Breeding

Once the hatchling appears, you can tame it using raw fish (any type except pufferfish). Feed your dragon to help it grow into an adult. Two tamed adults of the same species can breed if fed fish, producing a new egg.

Hybrid dragons cannot be created — each species is unique.

Items and Control Tools

The mod introduces several items that make dragon care and management easier and more immersive.

• Amulets – Keep your dragon following you everywhere.
• Dragon Flutes – Instantly teleport your dragon to you from long distances. Each flute’s color corresponds to the dye used in the dragon’s inventory.
• Dragon Staffs – Crafted from Blaze Rods and gems, these activate your dragon’s attack abilities when you’re riding it.

Dragon Variations and Resurrection

You can change your dragon’s appearance using Variation Orbs, giving it a new visual style without affecting stats. If your dragon dies, it will drop a Dragon Core and Essence. Combine these items to revive your dragon — though it will return as a baby and must be tamed again.

Dragon Types

Dragon Mounts 2 introduces a rich roster of species, each with distinct looks, environments, and elemental powers.

Basic and Elemental Dragons

Raise dragons of Fire, Ice, Water, Forest, and Earth, each with special textures and behaviors. For example, the Forest Dragon has three skin variations depending on the biome where it hatches — temperate, cold, or warm.

Rare and Legendary Dragons

Beyond the elemental types, there are Ethereal, Sculk, Nether, and End Dragons, obtained through egg transformation. Place a normal egg on a specific block (e.g., End Stone for the Ender Dragon) and wait five minutes.
You can also encounter exotic breeds like the Ghost, Skeleton, Zombie, Thunder, Solar, and Lunar Dragons — each unlocked under special conditions.

Flying and Riding

Once saddled, your dragon becomes a powerful flying mount. Press the jump button to take off, and use movement controls (or joystick) to navigate. Look downward to descend. You can only dismount safely on solid ground, preventing accidental falls from high altitudes.
